the greens had fairly difficult hole position. it's a little bit like part links course, part regular course. there is a pretty good variety of challenges. The course itself is beautiful and laid out well. they keep track of the proceedings, without being intrusive. The people here seem to take pride in their golf course. it wasn't like he was following you around all up in your business all day.

the ranger guy only showed up occasionally, and he had a sense of humor. that being said, the staff was very nice.

it was pretty crowded on a wet, dreary day. on a beautiful day i imagine it is quite crowded. it was still ugly, but at least it was fun again. this relieved my nerves somewhat, and i started golfing better. i almost quit after 9, but decided to drink more beer instead. i kept getting too much wet sod, and i was dubbing balls. everybody and their mother had the same idea, and there was a line by the pro shop waiting to go the second the rain stopped. we went down as soon as it stopped and tried to be sneaky and get on early, assuming nobody would be there and we'd get our round in earlier. it rained all day, and stopped about a half hour before our tee time. When i went it was right after a rainy day.
